Mongolia? “Just one word; WOW! Mongolia is awesome! Endless green fields, blue skies and more pretty horses than you can count. It was more beautiful than I can describe, words will not do it justice.”
The Horses? “The horses were tiny but strong, fast and incredibly surefooted, a real pleasure to ride.”
How was the Delivery element? “We switched horses daily, so that each could get a good rest. The trail could be hard and the pace was always high, it reminded me of a proper endurance race! (Which is why we booked of course; action!!!) We had so many horses that we had a small herd, and it was good fun to feel like a proper wrangler and keep the group together.”
Food? “We had an eternally smiling cook who would cook us meals 3 times a day. We were prepared for a lot, but not to be treated so well! We literally stuffed ourselves 3 times a day, but the food was mainly healthy so no problems there. Never try Mongolian hangover breakfast though.... :) The rest of the staff was good fun too, always smiling and making sure we had everything we need.”
Precious memories? “Waking up being surrounded by a herd of horses really is a special thing, it will instantly put you in a good mood (combined with awesome porridge breakfast of course)!”
Would you recommend the trip? If you ever get the chance to go on a riding holiday to Mongolia, DO! It will blow your mind, and you'll be so spoiled you'll not want anything else.
We went on Morindoo's Western trek, plus the eagle festival. It was one of the best things that I have ever done. My horse was the coolest litlle stallion, would have taken him home if I could. He was like all of the other horses, willing, very capable, and no management issues. There many parts that I will never forget, like being around the fire at night with Bayra or Nur singing their songs, cantering across the endless plains, and plenty more. Then riding to the eagle festival with the eagle hunters. If anyone wants an adventure with the neatest people, I highly recommend this trip.

I really can't thank you enough for team Morindoo making it possible for me to have the trip in Mongolia that I had. Firstly just being able to see that much of the country was incredible. I intentionally did zero research into Mongolia so that I could experience everything without any preconceptions or anything like that. I was thoroughly unprepared for how amazing everything was. I like to think of myself as a consummate traveler, but Mongolia blew me away. I could not have picked a better way to spend my time in country.
