Anna 2016 Delivery run rider, from Germany

Everything was like a dream - our horses were strong characters and had individual spirits. I remember all of them - Snoopy & Charlie Brown, Palomino, The Monster (carrying Derby Winner Will back into the lead from our final horse station!!), the herders horse, cartoon pony and Shirley's fine runner - I love all of them and I hope they are doing well. We had so much fun riding, setting up camp, eating, drinking and mastering emergency puddle situations together. I just say - "take your passports!!!!" The Morindoo Team was the best company ever and Baigal, Buynah, Dembee & Chimdee took care of us whereever we went!

For me the most precious memory is riding along with Jamba & Sergio every day, to learn from them about herding, guiding the horses, away from the area that they are used to, through planes, forests, mountains and rivers. And around holy sites 3x times. To see and understand just how close the connection between humans and animals is, how their lives are beautifully interwoven in a perfect symbiosis. These days in the steppe were probably one of the most meaningful experiences I have been blessed with. Therefore I definitely feel that I am carrying a bit of Mongolian Horsemanship in me for the rest of my life!

We went on Morindoo's Western trek, plus the eagle festival. It was one of the best things that I have ever done. My horse was the coolest litlle stallion, would have taken him home if I could. He was like all of the other horses, willing, very capable, and no management issues. There many parts that I will never forget, like being around the fire at night with Bayra or Nur singing their songs, cantering across the endless plains, and plenty more. Then riding to the eagle festival with the eagle hunters. If anyone wants an adventure with the neatest people, I highly recommend this trip.

I really can't thank you enough for team Morindoo making it possible for me to have the trip in Mongolia that I had. Firstly just being able to see that much of the country was incredible. I intentionally did zero research into Mongolia so that I could experience everything without any preconceptions or anything like that. I was thoroughly unprepared for how amazing everything was. I like to think of myself as a consummate traveler, but Mongolia blew me away. I could not have picked a better way to spend my time in country.
